About

Who the fuck are you?

Hi, my name is Adam. I play guitar and write songs. I’m from Bournemouth in the UK but now live in London (also in the UK!). Isn’t that nice? From 2003 to 2009 I played solo acoustic, but more recently I also play full electric with my ace new band ‘Adam Boucher & The Dead Set‘ – Jon Zarych on bass and Steve Zsolnai on drums.  I’ve yet to hear any cries of ‘Judas!’…

I’ve toured the UK 5 times now and loved every minute of it. Don’t get me wrong though, we’re not talking epic tours here. I’m not some hardened road warrior like Henry Rollins, but I did survive most of it on my own, in my fiesta. Rock and roll!

I release my music on my own ‘label’ zu-bean records and give most of it away for free download, because I’m nice like that. You can still buy stuff, should you feel so inclined, either at gigs or from the online shop/iTunes etc. There’s a few releases that aren’t available anymore, largely because they suck. I wouldn’t bother looking for them! Click the link below for free music:

Who the fuck are The Dead Set?

Were you not paying attention? The Dead Set are my ace backing band, Jon and Steve. They both used to play in a band called In Search Of Apollo. You should check out their music.

Jon Zarych – Bass

Jon is from Essex. That is all

Steve Zsolnai – Drums
Steve is a dirty immigrant from Benoni, South Africa. He is by far the most talented member of the band, but equally a bit special.

Gigs
It’s relatively easy to book me for a gig. I prefer playing gigs with the band wherever possible, but I’m also totally happy playing solo acoustic still, if and when the need arises.

If you’re interested, drop me an e-mail and I’ll see what can be sorted. I’ll play anywhere from living rooms solo acoustic and unamplifed to er, venues with a PA! If you can cover petrol costs and maybe put me/us up for the night that’d be ace. But even if you can’t, you should still e-mail mmkay? – adam-at-adamboucher dot com

This is the closest thing we have to a press pic. Deal with it. We have. It doesn’t get much prettier:
