Greetings everyone! The new recordings are now a little bit closer to being finished. Please contain your excitement! On Sunday Johnny came round to the studio (or the spare room if you’re following conventional room-based naming structures) and recorded drums for ‘The Ballad of Richmond Town’, the last track to record. He even managed to nail it on the second take.

There’s a few more parts to come back and then the small matter of the guitars and vocals, which are in various stages of completion. I need to stop dawdling and get on with it basically.

We’ve recorded twelve songs. One of which is almost definitely not getting past the guide guitar/vocals stage. The others all sound ace.

So, here’s a video from the Bournemouth gig a few weeks back. Mr Jon Zarych on bass and Master Johnny Yeates on drums. Totally unrehearsed. I think we sounded pretty damn good. Enjoy!
